It’s often tough to face up to the full reality of a situation when loving or living with a using addict. It takes Courage to potentially speak to them about their consumption, addiction or behavior. Without help this Courage can be hard to summon.

Remember a using addict is an arch manipulator. They do not wish you to feel
confident. They in no way want anything to interrupt their life pattern and how they satisfy their addiction.

Their wish for you is to be a maximum enabler, feeling unconfident, defeated and accepting of an attitude that nothing can ever be changed. Using addicts will continuously push boundaries.
