Our aim is that through more Wisdom, you obtain more Courage, and ultimately find your Serenity.

Life coaching

As an Accredited Life Coach, the aim is to provide you with a holistic view of your current circumstances.  This includes the good and the bad!  We identify the ways you can improve your situation, building your Wisdom, Courage and finally achieve the Serenity you so deserve.

Each situation of living with of loving an addict is as different as you are unique.  Therefore, all our courses have a flexible framework to allow us to focus primarily on where you will receive the most benefit. To facilitate this, we have a range of courses available.

Why? Well, because we know we can help!

About Us

At 12 years into my recovery, I decided on a complete career change and studied to become an Accredited Life Coach.
Having grown up in a home with a recovering addict, I have always been surrounded by addiction.  I knew all the potential pitfalls, and yet somehow, I fell into those pits too.

An addict, like many others with a mental health issue, I am now stable and living a healthy life.  However, I take nothing for granted and know my recovery is still one day at a time.

In my personal journey I have been especially lucky in that my family had experience of addiction previously.  They already knew the signs to look for, their personal coping mechanisms, and how to set and maintain strong boundaries. I reaped the benefits of my family having seen it all before.  Not everyone is as lucky as I was.

There are an endless array of options for the addict when they decide it’s their time to enter recovery.  From AA to residentials or sobriety coaches, everything from free voluntary societies and groups to highly specialized and costly treatment.

However, the same cannot be said for the loved ones living with the addict, especially not which the addict is still using. While there are some options available for the loved one and family of an addict, numbers are limited and most are voluntary, run by people who have the same experience. This type of support also tends to be targeted at when the addict is in the recovery stage.

LivingWithAddicts.info can provide help and support at all stages, whether that’s worried about consumption, interventions, recovery or just day-to-day life.

Our Mission

Why Life Coaching

Firstly, a Life Coach believes that deep down only you know what is right for you.  Secondly, a Life Coach is not a therapist or counsellor, they do not look back but instead examine the here and now and how to move you forward.
